Is the course only for experienced farmers?
No. The course is relevant to anyone who is interested in regenerative farming methods, although it is written with the point of view of the experienced farmer in mind. Please enquire if you are not sure.

Can I access the course materials at my own pace?
Self-paced online courses like this one offer flexible and accessible learning where you control the schedule and pace, ideal for individuals with busy lives or diverse learning styles. Access to the course is limited to six months from enrolment.
How long does the course take to complete?
This is largely dependent on you and the time you have available to work on it, but the course must be completed within six months of enrolment.
What do I need to take the course?
A stable internet connection, a device and basic digital literacy. Access to Microsoft software or compatible alternatives is strongly suggested.
Is the Foundation Course fully online?
Yes. There will be periodic interactive video calls and you will be sent additional resources by email, if required.

Will I get hands-on experience?
Not as such. You will have the option to attend a workshop once you have completed the online course.
At this workshop we will review with you all the principles covered in the course and guide your through the initial stages of your farm planning.
The workshop you attend will ideally also be attended by a group of course graduates to add value to the learning and planning experience. You will visit a regenerative grazing practitioner on farm as part of this workshop. The workshop accommodation and farm visit are not covered in the online course fee.
Can I apply what I learn to my own farm?
Absolutely. The course is designed to be practical and applicable to real-world farming scenarios.

What will I be able to do after completing the course?
You will know how to plan, implement and monitor a regenerative grazing enterprise or how to adapt your existing livestock enterprise to regenerative principles. You will know how to assess whether it would be beneficial to your farming business to do so. Support that assists you to implement regenerative grazing principles will be available long after you have completed the course, if you need it.
Are there assessments or quizzes?
Yes. You need to complete a task/s at the end of each module or session in the course before advancing to the next session.
Will I get support if I have questions during the course?

The course is principle centred; it can be applied in principle wherever livestock are farmed.
